Rev. Fr. George Maingi is a dedicated and passionate Catholic Priest from the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru with over 22 years of experience faithfully working with loyalty, dedication and diligence as a Chaplain for the Kenya Defense Forces. He holds Masters in Theology Specializing in Pastoral Theology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and a Diploma in Theology from St. Mathias Seminary. Rev. Fr. George has diligently undertaken his duties in peace keeping mission with United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) and African Union in Somalia (AMISOM). He is proficient in the formulation of policies and strategies key in ensuring the effective running of Waumini Sacco. Being a great communicator who values work ethic and integrity he poses as an invaluable asset to the Sacco. He has been in the Audit Committee, Finance & Admin Committee and Credit Committee.
Sylvia, a strong orator and highly committed director, currently works at Catholic University. She holds MBA Strategic management and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from CUEA. She is the vice chairperson in the current board. Sylvia sits in the Education & Marketing as well as Executive Committees.
Jonathan works for Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) as the Head of Customer Services Department. He holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration, Strategic Management option specializing in Corporate Governance (University of Nairobi, 2015). Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management option, specializing in Marketing (university of Nairobi, 2001). Has a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Bed.), specializing in Economics and Business Administration (Kenyatta University, 1987). He is the Current Sacco Treasurer and also sits in the Finance & Admin as well as Executive Committees.
Margaret currently works for Caritas Internationalis Anglophone Africa Secretariat (CIAAS). She holds a Masters degree Arts in Peace and Conflict Management from The University of Nairobi and Master of Arts Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University. Margaret is also a CPS2 (Certified Public Secretaries) and Business Administration diploma holder. She serves in the current board as the Hon. secretary
Rev. Fr. Geoffrey A. Mawa, the composed and devoted Priest, belongs to the Apostles of the Jesus Congregation and is the Councillor for Projects, Property at Apostles of Jesus Generalate. Fr Mawa is currently pursuing his Phd(Finance) at JKUAT. He holds an MBA (Finance) from the Catholic University, B.Com(Accounting) from the Catholic University. Fr Mawa wraps up his already impressive profile with Bachelor of Art (Sacred Theology),Diploma in Philosophy and a Diploma in Theology from Apostles of Jesus Theologicum. His composure, strong leadership skills and perfect interpersonal skills is an asset to the Sacco. Fr. Mawa sits in the Loan approval as well as Audit Committees in the current board.
Monica Njoroge is an MBA holder from Daystar University, a Bachelor of Science (Applied Accounting) from the Oxford Brookes University and also holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management .She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Monica has been passionately serving the Sacco at board level since 2014. Currently she is a Senior Program Coordinator at the Catholic Relief Services. She sits in the finance & Admin as well as Education and Marketing Committees in the current board.
Otsieno who currently sits in both Loan Approval and Audit Committees as a board member is a notable leader and a well-known radio presenter currently working with Radio Waumini. He is very easy going with strong communication background. Otsieno is currently pursuing his Masters in Communication at Daystar University and has travelled widely in many dioceses to enhance the visibility and create more business for the Sacco.
Ratemo currently chairs the Loan Approval Committee and works at Marist International University, Finance Department. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from KCA University and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Ratemo has served in the board since March 2017 and previously was a member in the Audit Committee.
